To promote the development of a modern, large-scale, artisan butcher shop with the best quality and socially conscious practices, while guaranteeing the future of the planet, people's health, and animal welfare.

More than 100 years of history

1906

Antonio Viñals Mitjans opened the first butcher shop in Mataró.

1926

We started the slaughterhouse activity in the areas of Mataró, Argentona, and Dosrius.

1950

The second generation, Manel Viñals Soler, created the first private slaughterhouse in Mataró.

1966

1966 We inaugurated the current Argentona facilities.

1975

The third generation, Toni Viñals Giralt, takes over the management of the company.

1990

We carried out the first community exports to the European Union.

2000

We registered the brand CARN ROSADA.

2001

We were ISO 9001 certified.

2004

We started the tray production hall.

2007

We created Viñals Gourmet, a specialised company in HORECA.

2009

The fourth generation is incorporated to develop the new line of products.

2010

Halal-certified.

2015

Ecological Certification

We opened Viñals 1906 stores.
